The Basics

Who it's for

Any group looking for a unique way to spend a few hours together.  Bachelor and bachelorette parties.  Birthday parties.  Corporate team building events.  A new excuse to hang out with friends or coworkers just because.  All of these reasons work - we're pretty sure everyone will wind up having a good time regardless.

How it works

We have a total of six cages, with each capped on participants to ensure that everyone gets plenty of throws.  When you arrive, you'll be taken through a waiver and safety brief (more on the waiver and safety brief below) before joining your coach in your cage.  We'll teach you how to throw, build your confidence through a practice period, and then get some competitions fired up...

For reservations:

We offer two types of reservations: 2 and 3 hour.

If you'd prefer a cage private to your group, we offer a 3 hour booking (with a minimum of 4 participants).  If you have a larger group (~8+), we will then scale the number of cages available to you based on the number of participants.  Usually these larger bookings end their visit with some cage-versus-cage competitions, which can generate some good-natured competitive heckling...

If you've got a smaller group (with less than 4 people), or if you are time-restricted, we also offer a 2 hour reservation.  If your group is smaller, you may be combined with other groups to facilitate the competition at the end of your visit.  As we cap the number of participants on each cage, you'll still get plenty of practice before you compete.

For walk-ins:

Now that our bar is open, we're more than happy to accommodate walk-ins when we're able.  As we're very focused on safety we do need to have an employee supervising any occupied cage.  Unfortunately this means that we will be at times unable to accommodate every group based on existing reservations and the staffing for that day, but we'll do our best to get you on our calendar if you either call or drop in when we're otherwise open.

Pricing

Our current pricing is below (exclusive of taxes and fees):

     - 1 hour   - $20 per person

     - 2 hours - $30 per person

     - 3 hours - $40 per person

Rules, waivers, and legal things

As you can imagine since we're dealing with throwing hatchets and axes, we have some important rules that you'll have to follow for everyone's safety.  You'll be briefed on these rules when you arrive, in addition to having to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks associated with what we'll be doing.  It won't take long but it's very important, so we highly recommend groups arrive together to ensure our team can get you throwing as quickly as possible.

Alcohol

We're excited to have received our beer and wine license.  We feature a rotation of beers from local breweries and wineries that will be constantly changing.  Our current offerings include beer and wine from Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery, Platt Park Brewing Company, The Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery, and Zuni Street Brewing Company.

Where we're located

Our address is 2000 Lawrence Street in Denver, Colorado.  We're located on the second floor of our building - our door is directly next to Jagged Mountain's outdoor seating on Lawrence Street (and yes, we have an elevator for those who prefer or need one).  LoDo and RiNo bars and restaurants are easily walkable, and we're only a couple of blocks away from Coors Field in case you want to catch a game and are looking for a pre- or post-game activity.

Parking and transportation

Unfortunately because of our central location we don't have access to our own lot.  However, there is abundant street (metered) parking as well as a number of private parking lots and garages within a block or two of our location.  One thing we'd strongly advise before driving over is to check the Rockies schedule.  Because we're only a couple of blocks away from the stadium, rates can rise significantly for the parking lots around us during home games.  For those times, Uber, Lyft, or a taxi might be a better option if walking isn't a possibility.
